The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation and Subsidiaries Receive Gold Award under Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme
The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation received a gold award for the fourth consecutive time under the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme, organised by the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC). Our website was first enhanced in 2014 to meet the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA requirements. This enables the website to cater for the needs of a range of different stakeholders; whilst we contribute to building a caring and inclusive society
Apart from the official website, HKSR’s website “Access Guide” and mobile app “ecRide” also received a gold award and a silver award respectively under the same scheme this year. The award presentation ceremony was hosted on April 14.
