LiveSmart, the social enterprise under the Society, recently opened a new store at Queen Mary Hospital. Apart from offering a selection of high quality rehab and healthcare products at an affordable price, the new shop will implement the notion of providing people with disabilities or chronic illnesses with training and employment. LiveSmart’s priority is to serve the community with suitable and reasonably priced rehab and healthcare products to health-conscious people, and people with disabilities or chronic illnesses.

With nearly 70% of the employees being people with disabilities or chronic illnesses, LiveSmart currently hosts nine physical stores and one e-shop. In addition to providing on-the-job training, LiveSmart has applied the idea of “self-help, mutual-support” to its business model in recent years, to encourage employees with disabilities or chronic illnesses to share personalised product advice based on their first-hand user experience with customers in similar health or physical conditions.
