HKSR 60th Anniversary
Embrace Diversity and Fly High
The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (HKSR) was established in 1959, providing services for people in need, which range from accessible transport and travel to rehabilitation and long-term care, with the aim to empower persons with disabilities, persons with chronic illnesses and older persons to live a fulfilling life. Entering the sixtieth year of the Society, we are going to move in close step with the community – expand service area through new perspectives and fresh thinking which dovetail with innovative technology. Meanwhile, we will launch the fundraising and preparation work of the redevelopment of Lam Tin Complex, aspiring to be an effective, impactful and caring organization in holistic care and rehabilitation.
The 60th Anniversary Celebration is themed as “Embrace Diversity and Fly High” , hoping to be the companion of service users and promote the collaboration towards building an inclusive society. Persons with different abilities can unleash their potential and ignite possibilities. The HKSR60 logo even illustrates a phoenix soaring on wings.
