Time: 9:30am – 5:00pm
Location: Chater Road (Pedestrian Precinct), Central
Competition (AM):
- Team competition with four members in one team
- Participants have to download our designated mobile app and follow the instructions in the app to complete all the tasks within a limited time. Participants will receive corresponding scores after completing a task. The team with the highest scores will be the winner.
- Some tasks will require participants to wear special devices to simulate various kinds of people with disabilities. (e.g. wheelchair users, the visually impaired etc.)
Carnival (PM):
- Through different forms such as experiential activities, sharing and exhibition, the general public can know more about barrier-free community and participate with action, Carnival details.

Rules and Regulations
- Participants who are under the age of 18 must submit a parent or guardian consent form online before attending the briefing session.
- All groups must register for the event online, and they must provide valid email address and mobile number during registration. All correspondences will be conducted via email.
- All groups must settle payment of the registration fee upon registration. Registration fee is non-refundable.
- Registration fee is not charity donation nor tax deductible.
- Participation in the Event is voluntary and at the own risk of participants. Each participant agrees to absolve the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation from all liabilities arising from bodily injuries, accidents, death or other losses during or caused by the Event.
- The final rundown and arrangements are subject to status of the pandemic and the respective infection control measures.
- In case of any disputes, the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation reserves the right of final decision.
Support Us
Apart from team participation, you could also support us by making donations for our work to aid people with disabilities and chronic illnesses and the elderly. Official receipt will be issued for donation of HKD100 or above for claiming tax deduction.

WHAT IS “BARRIER FREE”?
Physical: barrier-free access to facilities and transport, and an environment that accommodates people with special conditions, such as people with physical disabilities, elderly people and pregnant women.
Psychological: social acceptance and understanding of the rights of people with disabilities and treating them the same as everyone else.
