Barrier Breaker was held on 6th November 2016 (Sunday), officiated by Mr Stephen SUI, JP, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare and Prof Alfred Chan, Equal Opportunities Commission Chairperson.

The event had over 400 people including school students, corporate staff participated in the community experiencing team in 8 districts, which some of the LegCo members tried out the special devices to experience the visual and physical challenge.   

The event was to raise the participants’ awareness on the barriers of the persons with disabilities and chronic illness met in their daily living in the community.
